Laurent SUBY

President

Linkedin profile: https://lu.linkedin.com/in/laurentsuby I am a member of the ATDL board and, since March 2013, President of the association. Education: BTS in Chemistry. Topics of interest: machine safety, psychosocial risks, chemical risk, fire, risks related to construction trades.

René DESSARD

Vice-President

Member of the ATDL since 2004, I have been Vice-President since 2017 after having been Treasurer of the association from 2014 to 2017 with a goal of reaching 500 members.

As a worker appointed since 1999 for a well-known Temporary Working Group, I then turned towards the implementation of a MASE Safety Management System until 2008. That year, I joined CBL to set up an OHSAS 18001 and then I passed my C3 Group Designated Worker diploma in 2009.

As an acute industrial tourist, I keep the fifth working working day of the week for my assistance activities to the Designated Worker and the employer under the status of a Self-Employed Person. More humanist than scholastic and empirical than dogmatic. In fact, self-taught and… speaks only French. Why ATDL? The only organization representing Designated Workers! The future of the ATDL! Well, the 500 members as mentioned above, which will allow the establishment of working groups by sector of activity and the exchange of experience and good practices in the field of OHS.

Fanny LARRIÈRE

Vice-President
Since March 2015, I have been a member of the ATDL board. After studying human resources and ergonomics/prevention, my professional career took me to Saint-Gobain’s ductile iron pipe casting and deburring lines, before integrating part of the building sector into a factory manufacturing prestressed concrete elements. My path in prevention and health and safety then took place at the GDL, first at Luxcontrol in 2008, for the constitution of my clients’ Commodo/Incommodo files, and in the advice and support of companies in their preparation for ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification. Then since 2014, as a designated worker and safety and health referee at TRALUX Construction. Communication, interpersonal skills, observation enable progress to be made in these issues on construction sites. Joining the ATDL Board of Directors and the BUILDING working group is a source of constructive exchanges of good practices in our sectors of activity, but also of analyses of our dangerous, recurrent situations, common to all on the building sites. The ATDL’s objective is to support and guide the country’s designated workers, in all sectors of activity, to carry out their missions as effectively as possible. These missions are also mine: risk analysis, prevention and benevolence to reduce the number and severity of accidents, reduce the number of people exposed to the risk of PD, and improve working conditions. A construction engineer, now retired, but still interested in the field of worker safety and well-being, I am a man in the field. More than 40 years of experience in the building industry.

Ability to make decisions, to lead, not shying away from difficulties, very open to discussion when it is constructive. My motto is “Want is power”. I like associations, I was secretary of the ACSSL for more than 20 years, administrator of the ATDL since its creation (more than 10 years) as a volunteer.

I was a building contractor for 10 years and I had a lot of satisfaction in this activity, even if it takes a lot of energy, time and will. I worked as a project manager for construction companies (buildings, VRD, industrial buildings and was safety and health coordinator in the engineering office Schroeder et Associés in Luxembourg for 20 years. I was one of the first coordinators in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
